Famous playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan has given a disappointing news to the fans of her ongoing ‘I’m Home India Tour 2025–26’. Due to medical emergency and severe throat infection, Sunidhi has postponed her much-awaited concert to be held in Kolkata on March 14. In a statement on social media, the singer revealed that he had suffered from a serious throat infection.In a post on Instagram, Sunidhi revealed that the decision has been taken on the advice of her doctor so that she can get complete rest for her voice.
“Dear Kolkata, as some of you might be aware from the clips of my last Lucknow show, I regret to inform you that I have been diagnosed with a severe throat infection. On doctor’s advice I have to give my voice complete rest, hence I have had to take the very difficult decision of rescheduling the ‘I’m Home’ concert scheduled for March 14 to March 25. This has been done so that I can make a complete recovery and wish you all the same. To deliver the performance that me and my team desire, and that you all deserve.”

She further added, “Our ‘I’m Home’ India Tour has been receiving tremendous love and blessings from across the country. This decision has been taken with the sole purpose of ensuring that each one of you experiences this concert the way it was meant to be. I would be extremely grateful to you for your understanding and continued support during this change. I would also like to take this opportunity to let you know that the tickets you hold will remain valid for the new date as well.”

Earlier, the singer had to stop his Lucknow concert midway due to a serious throat problem. During the event, the singer made a surprise announcement midway through her set. He later apologized to the audience for the interruption and thanked them for their support.
The Lucknow show is part of his ongoing nationwide tour, which started from Mumbai on December 24, 2025. Since then, the tour has visited multiple cities, including Delhi (27 December), Bengaluru (17 January), Ahmedabad (31 January), and Chennai earlier this year. Their next performance was to be held on 14 March at Aquatica Ground, Kolkata, which was to be the last stop of the tour.
