Monalisa Bhosle, who came into limelight during the Prayagraj Kumbh Mela last year, got married to her boyfriend Farhan Khan in a temple in Kerala on Thursday. While talking to the media after marriage, she strongly denied the reports in which she was being described as a minor. Monalisa said in clear words that I am 18 years old and these news are completely fake.
Her husband Farhan also confirmed this and said that if Monalisa was under 18 years of age, official registration of their marriage would not have been possible. He told that they met six months ago during the casting of a film, where they fell in love with each other. Many big leaders including Kerala Education Minister Shivankutty and MP Rahim also attended this wedding ceremony.

Monalisa alleged that her family was against the relationship and were pressurizing her to marry someone else. The situation became more tense when he had to go to the Thampanoor police station and lodge a complaint that his father was trying to forcibly take him back. Currently, the couple is planning to stay in Kerala only, because Monalisa likes this place very much and she is busy shooting her films here.
