Amidst controversies and discussions, the film ‘The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond’, released on 27 February 2026, is not getting the support of the audience in Kerala. The film’s first day performance was much lower than expected and shows had to be canceled in many theaters due to lack of audience. Advance booking for the second day has also been limited.
In Thiruvananthapuram, shows have been scheduled at Lulu Mall, Mall of Travancore, Aries and Greenfield Cinema. As per the current bookings, around 25 tickets were sold at Lulu Mall, while there were five bookings for the 2.45 pm show at Aries. Hopefully the theater management will run the show if the bookings reach at least 10 tickets.
