Rockstar Sequel: Filmmaker-director Imtiaz Ali has given a hint for the sequel of ‘Rockstar’. In Komal Nahata’s podcast ‘Game Changers’, the director spoke openly and said that the film can be made.

Imtiaz Ali said, “Maybe an idea may come and I think this story can be good according to Rockstar Part 2 or Rockstar.
Let us know that ‘Rockstar’ is a musical-romantic drama released in 2011. Along with its direction, writing was also done by Imtiaz Ali. The film stars actors Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri in the lead roles. Apart from these, Aditi Rao Hydari, Piyush Mishra, Shernaz Patel, Kumud Mishra, Sanjana Sanghi and Shammi Kapoor were also seen in important roles in the film.
The film was released in theaters on November 11, 2011 and became one of the highest grossing films of the year. The songs of the film are still on the tongue of the people, which never lets them be old. Rockstar’s soundtrack is considered one of the best music albums.
‘Rockstar’ was re -released in selected theaters across the country in May 2024. The film was also a lot in theaters again. Looking at the story of ‘Rockstar’, it is based on the journey of a boy who dreams of becoming a famous rock star. Ranbir, who went out on the search, has to face many challenges on the way.
The story takes a new twist when it falls in love with a college girl. Who breaks her heart and marries someone else.
