The past few times have been very difficult for actor Hrithik Roshan, who is called the ‘Greek God’ of Bollywood. Hrithik remembered his mentor and late filmmaker MM Baig by posting a heart-touching message on his social media handle on Saturday. Baig, father of yesteryear’s famous child artist Baby Guddu, was recently found dead at his residence. Hrithik, who started his acting career with the 2000 film ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’, said Baig not only instilled “confidence” in him but also helped him overcome his “hesitancy”. Hrithik wrote, “My dear Baig ji, I will always be grateful to you for being the teacher I so desperately needed at the beginning of my journey as an actor. You helped me a lot in gaining confidence in dialogue delivery… You played an important role in shaping the actor within me. Thank you for helping me overcome my hesitations and also turning my weaknesses into strengths.”

The actor said, “I was lost. You showed me the right path. I was just 18 years old at that time. I still follow the lessons given by you. I will miss you a lot. May your soul rest in peace, my Guru.” Baig had worked as an assistant director on many films of Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan including ‘Kala Bazaar’ and ‘Kishan Kanhaiya’.
