Rajpal Yadav said that I will complete 30 years in Bollywood in Mumbai in 2027. People from all over the country, children, old and young, everyone is with me… The way the entire country and the world, my Bollywood, have loved me, if any allegations are made against me, I am ready to answer. Thank you, High Court. The court ordered suspension of Yadav’s sentence on the condition that he furnishes a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and one surety of like amount. The order was passed after Advocate Avneet Singh Sikka, counsel for private company M/s Murali Project, confirmed that Yadav had deposited Rs 1.5 crore in the company’s bank accounts against the amount of the bounced cheque.

Earlier in the day, Yadav’s lawyer, Advocate Bhaskar Upadhyay, informed that he is ready to deposit Rs 1.5 crore through Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR) without any conditions. However, Justice Swarn Kant Sharma directed the amount to be deposited through demand draft (DD). The aggrieved party in this case is a company named Murgli Project Private Limited, from which the defendant actor Rajpal Yadav had taken a loan. Yadav had borrowed a total of Rs 5 crore from this company. To repay this loan, he had sent several checks to Murgli Project Private Limited, but these checks bounced. The matter is of 2010, when Rajpal Yadav directed a film named ‘Aata Pata Lapata’.

The High Court had put a conditional stay on Rajpal’s arrest in 2024 and he was asked to repay the loan. In December last year, the actor had agreed to repay the loan in installments, but he failed to do so. Due to this, the Delhi High Court ordered his detention in Tihar Jail on 2 February. However, the actor surrendered on February 4 and is in Tihar jail till date.
