Govinda’s counterattack, said- ‘Left politics for family’
Speaking to ANI, Govinda was asked about his wife Sunita Ahuja’s statement about not helping their son Yashvardhan’s career. He replied, “I left politics for the sake of my family because I did not want political life to interfere with my family life and have a bad impact on them – especially my children. That’s why I left politics.”
He further said that he took steps to guide Yashvardhan professionally. Govinda said that he spoke to producer Sajid Nadiadwala and asked him to guide Yashvardhan. Govinda said, “I asked Nadiadwala, so he guided Yash on how films are made and work is done.”
In a recent interview with Miss Malini, Sunita Ahuja accused Govinda of not supporting her son Yashvardhan professionally. He said, “Yash is a self-made boy. He has not taken help from his father. Being Govinda’s son, he has given 90 auditions. He did not ask Govinda to call anyone. Govinda also never helped Yash. I said on Govinda’s face, ‘What kind of father are you? If you don’t help our children, then who will?’ Look at Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff, how they all are supporting their sons.”
