New Delhi. The Supreme Court on Monday (January 5) refused to grant bail to Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam in the 2020 Delhi riots case. Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student activists and former researchers Umar Khalid and Sharjeel Imam have been in judicial custody since 2020 in the Delhi riots case. After the court order, different reactions have been seen on social media. On this matter, some are in support of the accused while some are saying that the court’s decision is right. Now TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee i.e. ‘Gopi Bahu’ has reacted on this matter and termed those who called the court’s decision wrong as ‘traitors’.

Retweeting an old video of Sharjeel Imam, he wrote, ‘Truly India is full of traitors who stand in support of such traitors.
