The wait for the sequel of the 1997 blockbuster film ‘Border’ is finally about to end. Ever since Sunny Deol released ‘Border 2’, a huge craze is being seen on social media regarding the return of ‘Major Kuldeep Singh’ after ‘Tara Singh’. Seeing this unprecedented love of fans, Sunny Deol has expressed his happiness by sharing a special message.

Bollywood actor Sunny Deol shared a video on social media and thanked his fans for the response to his new film “Border 2”. The film has already crossed the Rs 200 crore earning mark at the box office. Directed by Anurag Singh, this film is the sequel to 1997’s “Border”. The film starring Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty was released on January 23.

Deol uploaded a video on his Instagram on Thursday. He wrote in the caption, “Thank you all so much for giving so much love to my, your, our ‘Border 2’.”
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, the film also stars Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh and Medha Rana in important roles. While the 1997 film was based on the events of the Battle of Longewala during the India-Pakistan War of 1971, ‘Border 2’ is also set against the backdrop of the same war. Deol will next be seen with Preity Zinta in “Lahore 1947”. It is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced under Aamir Khan’s production banner Aamir Khan Productions.
