Ejaz Khan is considered one of the popular actors of TV. Apart from serials, he has also worked in films like ‘Jawaan’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu’. During an interview given to the screen, Ejaz had revealed many secrets related to his life.
The actor said, ‘I endured a lot in my childhood. My parents separated, due to which we had to be very independent and self-reliant. My father was very good, who kept me disciplined. My father was very generous, but he always made sure that we remained religious.
Ejaz said that when he was studying in school, his mother passed away and he came to know about his sister after her death. It took 13 years for Ejaz to meet his sister, because she used to live in Hyderabad. Later Ejaz got his sister married.
Entered Bollywood after TV
After that the actor focused on his acting career. Ekta Kapoor offered him ‘Kavyanjali’. Till 2007, Ejaz worked in TV shows and after that he entered Bollywood. The actor signed three films simultaneously, but they could not be released.
A lot was going on in Ejaz’s personal life during Tanu Weds Manu. Actually, the person whom the actor was dating had accused him of sexual exploitation. Ejaz had talked about it in a talk show. The actor said, ‘After a long and serious affair, I was single for some time.
Girlfriend did strange things
I met someone during a party and due to some problems she started living in my house. Within a month I realized that things were getting out of hand. When I told her that we cannot live together, she got carried away. He did strange things to be with me.
A case of sexual harassment was registered against me. Because of this I could not promote Tanu Weds Manu. When all this happened with Ejaz, he had to go underground. In his personal life, he was facing so much that he had to switch off his phone.
Ejaz left Mumbai for two months. On this the actor said, ‘Those were difficult times and I had to wash utensils to buy food. I never thought that I would be able to overcome this. He took away my house, my dogs, everything.
