Actress Soha Ali Khan started her new podcast show ‘All About Har’ in August itself. Its third episode is coming soon. It will include former Union Minister and actress Smriti Irani as a guest. A promo video of this has been shared. In this, Smriti Irani has counted the disadvantages of being celebrity. Also made some revelations related to his political career in the show.

Celebrity tag is harmful in politics
In the podcast, Soha Ali Khan asked Smriti Irani whether to have an recognized face, is beneficial for her or harmful. Smriti said, ‘harmful. Because everyone believed that actor considers politics to be done at the last stop of his career, not any work that he has adopted seriously from the beginning. Most of the actors enter politics due to their popularity and then become a Rajya Sabha member. I was not among them.

I loved field work- Smriti Irani
He further said, ‘When I entered active politics in 2003, I started as a member of the youth branch of BJP in Maharashtra. My batchmate is the Chief Minister of Maharashtra today. And my other partner Dharmendra Pradhan, is now the Education Minister. But even then I wanted to stay in the field, wanted to work with my colleagues and get their respect, because I knew that I could last long.

Smriti also said that- I worked with full responsibility at the ground level and later became the state secretary in Maharashtra after Nitin Gadkari became president. I have five BJP presidents- Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Amit Shah, J.P. Has worked with Nadda and Venkaiah Naidu. In 2004, I contested my first election at the age of 27. So I can say with full confidence that I have worked at the ground level. I was there, I am different from the rest of the stars. Let us know that this episode will be released on YouTube on 12 September.
