New Delhi. Salman Khan is hosting the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 19’ these days. A strong security has been arranged on the set of this show to protect the superstar. In the last years, the makers have made a lot of changes in the way the shooting of the weekend wise with Salman Khan. Recently, Rishi Negi, CEO of Endemol Shine India, told about the security arrangements being made on the set.

Rishi Negi revealed that due to the frequent threats received by Salman Khan for the last two and a half years, there has been a lot of increase in security system on the set of Bigg Boss 19. He said, ‘Now when Salman Khan is on the show, we do not call live audiences. Also, very strict protocols are adopted for people coming on the show. Whether it is a permanent staff, a temporary or a person working as a vendor. We check everyone’s background strictly.

A team of 600 people works 24 hours

He also told that a team of about 600 people is continuously working to run the show smoothly. Rishi said, ‘There are about 600 people in our team. Three shifts work and we work 24 hours for seven days. There are also women in our team. We do not compromise at all about content security and ground level logistics, both of them are our top priests.

Firing was done outside the Galaxy apartment

In the last few years, Salman Khan has received threats to kill many times, due to which he has to increase the security of his house. Firing occurred in April 2024 outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy apartments in Bandra. Later it was reported that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is behind the attack, because the gangster’s brother Anmol Bishnoi took responsibility for this firing through a Facebook post.

Bulletproof glass installed in balcony

After this shocking incident, Salman Khan’s security was further increased. In October 2024, the actor bought a bulletproof SUV car, which costs around Rs 2 crore. Apart from this, Salman Khan also covered the balcony of his Mumbai house with bulletproof glass. It is known that 60 security personnel were deployed under his security during the shooting of ‘Bigg Boss 18’. Whenever Salman was present on the set, during that time the rule of strict forbidden for outsiders was strictly implemented.
