The actress has been undergoing treatment for liver cancer for a long time. Due to this reason, she often goes to the hospital and also gives information about her illness in her YouTube vlog. Recently the actress has told that now her immunotherapy has started. During this time he suddenly had to face back pain and fever.
Deepika said- My immunotherapy has started
While giving her health update in her new YouTube vlog, Deepika Kakkar said, ‘You must have seen about me that my immunotherapy has started. Dr. Sewanti Limaye is my oncologist at HN Reliance Hospital. We have just completed the first infusion session of double immunotherapy and now I will have my next session after that. Now my immunotherapy will be done through IV in the same way.

Faced back pain and fever
The actress further said, ‘Well, I have not felt any special side effects from it. Yes, when such a heavy drug enters your body, you definitely feel something. Sometimes you feel a little lethargic for a day or half, and sometimes the temperature increases a little. I experienced a lot of back pain. This could also be because I may have had a slight viral infection because I had a very mild fever. That too came only once and did not repeat after that.
I met the doctor again
After back pain and fever, Deepika again met Dr. Sevanti. She further said, ‘After this I went to meet Dr. Sewanti again. He got all the necessary tests done and when the reports came, he too heaved a sigh of relief that everything was fine. That means there were no major side effects due to the medicine. Ultimately it came to light that I might have contracted some minor viral infection during my stay in the hospital. Anyway, when your body is already in a sensitive zone, such things happen quickly.
Deepika Kakkar further said that her immunotherapy will continue and she will get blood tumor markers and scans done from time to time. He further said, ‘Meanwhile, we have got many more blood tests done related to the deep study of cancer, which were suggested by Dr. Sewanti.’
The surgery lasted 14 hours
39 year old Deepika had made a special identity with the show ‘Sasural Simar Ka’. She has also been a part of the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss’. He was diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer in May 2025. Since then till now he is undergoing continuous treatment. The actress also had surgery. During a 14-hour long surgery, a tennis ball-sized tumor was found in his liver.
