The show is extremely popular because of its characters, mysterious stories and stunning visuals. In every season, the new character of ‘Naagin’ kept the audience connected to the screen and became their favourite. Now, Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary has come forward to play this iconic role in the seventh season. His entry has created excitement among the fans.
Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary talked about her experiences and challenges in an interview given to IANS. She said, “When one has to work in a show which already has such a big name and fan following, the challenges naturally increase. But I am working 100 percent for my character. An actor should always focus on his acting and should not be influenced by any comparison or criticism.”
Priyanka said, “Comparisons are common because the audience always compares the new actors with the actresses of the previous seasons. Comparisons should be taken in a positive manner, one should not be afraid of it. In the last six seasons, many actresses have played the character of Naagin brilliantly and it is a matter of pride for me that now I am carrying forward the legacy of this series. My aim is only to play my character honestly and give my best in every episode.”
