TV actress Krutika Sengar, who gained fame from the TV serial ‘Rani Lakshmibai-Ek Veer Stree’, is a well-known face of the small screen. The past days have been the heaviest for the actress and her family, as she lost her father-in-law Pankaj Dheer. Senior actor Pankaj Dheer died on October 15 and was fighting cancer.
Now after 15 days, Krutika Sengar has written an emotional post about Pankaj Dheer and called him not just her father-in-law but her father, friend and safe place. While sharing the photo of Pankaj Dheer, he wrote, ‘You never liked the word in-laws, you always used to say, ‘She is my daughter,’ and your behavior with me was exactly the same. You would often ask with that knowing twinkle in your eyes, ‘Who is the best girl in the world?’ And I would smile and say, ‘Me.’
He further wrote, ‘I was always shy to say ‘I love you, Papa’, but you never stopped until I said it with ease… You were not just my father-in-law, you were my father, my friend, my safe place. We used to talk for hours about everything and nothing, and now this silence without you feels very heavy.
