In KBC 17, Amitabh Bachchan praised his 50 years of relationship and dedication with his makeup artist Deepak Sawant. He says that Deepak has been with him for 50 years and he had worked with him in about 200 films. Amit ji says that his make-up grandfather has not taken a single day off in so many years and even his brother died just three days ago but still he was present on the set.

This time he introduced everyone to a special person who has been with him for the last 50 years. Big B tells that in the last 50 years he has done about 200 films and this special person has been with him in every film. He is none other than the makeup grandfather of Bollywood emperor Amitabh Bachchan.

He says that this is the person who has been with him for the last 50 years and has supported him in about 200 films. He used to reach the set on time every day and in all these years he did not take even a single day off.

The actor further says that whether he was ill or for any other reason, he always reached the set on time. Big B further says that Deepak Sawant’s brother died just 3 days ago but despite this he went to work without leave. He has been following his schedule every day for the last 50 years. On hearing this story from Amit ji, the KBC studio echoed with thunderous applause.
