Recalling an old interview, Zack Snyder said that the character of Huma in the film was written for an Indian artist from the beginning. She said that when the casting director suggested Huma’s name and she saw her work, she immediately realized that she was an amazing actress. Jack initially thought that maybe Huma would not do this film, but he was very happy when she said yes.
