Earlier, in an interview with British Vogue in December 2025, Robbie talked about the expectations of the film being very bold. He clarified that although Wuthering Heights has erotic elements, it is more romantic than shocking.he said“Everyone is expecting it to be very, very bold. I think people will be surprised. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t have sexual elements and it’s not provocative – it’s definitely provocative – but it’s more romantic than provocative.
Adding a light-hearted moment, Robbie recently shared on Jimmy Kimmel Live how his friends reacted to the film during a private screening. Recalling that night, she said, “It was the craziest night ever, but at the screening itself there were 20 women foaming at the mouth. They were like mad dogs and they’d already had a few drinks, and then when the movie started they were screaming so hard.”
She further joked about Jacob Elordi’s screen presence, saying, “When Jacob came on screen, I think it must have registered on the Richter scale; they screamed so loud. To be honest, I thought if he came in here right now, they would eat him. So it was better he wasn’t there.”
Wuthering Heights is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 13, which coincides with Valentine’s Day.
