Actor Alan Ritchson, known for his muscular body and powerful action in Prime Video’s popular series ‘Reacher’, has got a big reprieve from a real-life legal crisis. Police have found him completely innocent in a violent altercation with his neighbor in Brentwood, Tennessee.Authorities determined that Richeson had acted in self-defense during the incident.
Police closed the case after investigation
After reviewing the available evidence, including video footage and witness statements, police decided that no criminal charges would be filed. Richeson also declined to press possible ‘reckless endangerment’ charges against his neighbor, Ronnie Taylor. “After reviewing the available evidence, including video footage and witness statements, officers determined that no criminal charges would be filed,” police said in a statement.

The statement continued, “Mr. Ritchson’s actions were found to have been in self-defense. Although a possible charge of ‘recklessly endangering life’ was considered, Mr. Ritchson declined to press charges. With the consent of the District Attorney’s Office, this case is now closed, and no further action will be taken.”
The neighbor had accused him of assault
In an interview with TMZ, Taylor alleged that the altercation started over loud dirt bike noises. He claimed that Richeson was speeding a green Kawasaki bike and revving the engine excessively, causing a nuisance in the neighbourhood.

According to Taylor, he responded with a hand gesture, which angered Richeson. The neighbor said that when she confronted the actor on Sunday, the situation worsened, and then the actor allegedly attacked her. Taylor claimed that Richeson punched him at least four times while he was on the ground, causing swelling and bruising. However, he did not get treatment in the hospital. Taylor also said that there were witnesses to the fight and that Richeson had left the scene shortly after the incident.
Recent work and personal life
Ritchson recently appeared in the third season of ‘Reacher’, which is streaming on Prime Video. Alan Richeson is married to Katherine Richeson. The couple met in a dance class during their teenage years in Florida. They married in 2006 and have three sons.
