Veteran Indian cinema actor Prakash Raj is known for his outspoken style and political comments. Recently, he has created a stir in the South Indian film industry (Tollywood) with his sharp reaction. Prakash Raj has taken a dig at South superstars Allu Arjun, Jr NTR and Ram Charan for praising Aditya Dhar’s new film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’.

What is the whole matter?

The controversy started when Prakash Raj shared a cryptic post on social media platform X. While sharing the song ‘Abhi Na Jao Bachde’ from the 1961 film ‘Hum Dono’, he wrote:

“I’m far from ‘Dhurandhar’. Are you too?”

Immediately after this, he quote-tweeted another user’s post, in which the question was raised as to why only the big stars of South are praising this film, while the big names of Bollywood are silent. Prakash Raj quipped on this and wrote, “The signals of loan repayment are now spreading in the South also.”

Superstars praised the film a lot

Let us tell you that after the release of ‘Dhurandhar 2’, big stars like Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Vijay Deverakonda and Junior NTR had called the film a ‘masterpiece’. Ram Charan praised the direction of the film and Ranveer Singh’s acting and called it one of the most exciting films of Indian cinema. Prakash Raj’s point was that this praise is not being given for art, but under some ‘invisible pressure’ or ‘agenda’.

Film surrounded by propaganda allegations

Aditya Dhar’s spy-thriller film is being accused of being ‘propaganda’. Famous YouTuber Dhruv Rathi has also strongly criticized the film. Rathi said: “Aditya Dhar’s propaganda has now been completely exposed.” “In the previous film it was subtle, but this time everything is clearly visible in Overconfidence.”
