Concerns regarding security in Bollywood corridors have once again increased. After superstar Salman Khan, now his brother-in-law and actor Ayush Sharma has received a death threatening email. This incident has come to light just a day after actor Ranveer Singh received a WhatsApp threat.

According to Mumbai Police, in the email sent to Ayush Sharma, the sender has described himself as a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Although no official complaint (FIR) has been lodged in this matter yet, the police have started their own investigation considering the seriousness of the matter.

The crime branch is trying to verify whether the email is genuine or someone mischievous, the officer said. This incident has happened at a time when actor Ranveer Singh has also received threats from unknown persons on WhatsApp. In this regard, an officer had said on Tuesday that the police suspect that members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang may be behind threatening Ranveer. Last week, an unidentified assailant fired five bullets at the residence of filmmaker Rohit Shetty in Mumbai’s Juhu area.
There is an atmosphere of fear in the entire film industry due to the name of Lawrence Bishnoi gang coming up again and again. Police are trying to find out whether all these incidents are related to each other or whether someone is trying to extort money using the name of the gang.
