The film’s producers, KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, released an official statement stating that the Gulf Region is a big market for their film. Their goal of reaching a global audience was currently being hampered by the ongoing conflict and unrest there. According to the official announcement from the makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups, the film is now scheduled to release worldwide on June 4, 2026. Sharing the announcement post, the makers wrote, “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is a film that we conceptualized with the vision of creating cinema for a global audience. Shot in Kannada and English, it has been made with the strong intention of connecting with audiences at home and around the world. After years of hard work, we were excited to share our film with you all on March 19. However, as of now “Uncertainty, particularly in the Middle East, has created a situation that is impacting our goal of reaching and connecting with the widest possible audience.” The note also read, “Therefore, in the interest of our partners and our audiences, we have taken the difficult but conscious decision to reschedule our release. We thank you for your understanding and patience and look forward to your continued love and support.
