The Diplomat Box Office Collection Day 5: John Abraham’s film ‘The Diplomat’ is being liked by the audience in theaters. The film released on the occasion of Holi on March 14 is also doing average collection at the box office. However, for the last two days, ‘The Diplomat’ has seen a huge decline in earnings. Even after a low collection, the film has surpassed ‘Veda’.
Inspired film ‘The Diplomat’ opened an account at the domestic box office by earning Rs 4.03 crore from the real life story. On the second day, the film got a little benefit of the weekend and it managed to earn 4.68 crores. On the third day, John Abraham’s film did a turnover of Rs 4.74 crore and Rs 1.53 crore on the fourth day. Now the box office report of the fifth day of ‘The Diplomat’ has also come out.
‘The Diplomat’ defeated ‘Veda’
According to a report by Second, ‘The Diplomat’ has earned Rs 1.40 crore at the Indian box office on the 5th day. This is the lowest collection of the film so far. The film has done a total business of Rs 16.38 crore in 5 days. With this collection, ‘The Diplomat’ has defeated John Abraham’s previous film ‘Veda’. ‘Veda’ earned Rs 15.5 crore in five days, which is less than ‘The Diplomat’. Sharawari Wagh was also seen in this film along with John.
John Abraham’s workfront
‘The Diplomat’ has been directed by Shivam Nair. In the film, Sadia Khatib appeared as a lead actress with John. Talking about John Abraham’s workfront, actor will be seen in the political-drama ‘Tehran’ after ‘The Diplomat’. Actress Manushi Chhillar will also be seen with her in this film. Apart from this, John can also be part of Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster film Pathan’s sequel Pathan 2.
