The film is performing well at the box office, but now a filmmaker has alleged that the story of this film matches the script written by him, due to which the matter now seems to be taking a legal turn.
Santosh called Aditya Dhar ‘chindi thief’
Filmmaker Santosh Kumar RS has accused Aditya Dhar of being ‘Chindi Chor’. He claims that he had written this story as an entertainment film in the year 2023, but Aditya Dhar stole it and presented it as political propaganda. Santosh had prepared this script diligently and had also narrated it to many production houses to make the film on a large scale. He says that he had contacted companies like Sony Pictures, Zee Studios, T-Series and Dharma Productions.

He had registered his story with the Screenwriters Association in November 2023 and he also has emails and documents related to it. He alleges that his story was used in the film, which has hurt him. Now they will take legal action in this matter.
Santosh is working on a pan-India film
According to IMDB, Santosh Kumar RS hails from Shivamogga district of Karnataka and has worked as a writer, director and producer. He started his career with the Kannada film ‘Campus Kranti’ (2023), which he himself wrote and directed. Apart from this, he is also working on the upcoming film ‘Yuvan Robinhood’, which is said to be a pan-India action thriller. Now after this controversy regarding ‘Dhurandhar 2’, the discussion on issues like copyright has again intensified in the industry.
