Speaking to ‘Collider’ during the teaser launch event in Los Angeles, Ranbir Kapoor revealed the kind of approach he took to play both the characters. He said that he used different body language and voice modulation to depict the different nature of Ram and Parashuram. He further said that understanding the spirituality and emotions of these avatars was the main key to his acting.
Ranbir told, “Lord Vishnu has had many incarnations. Lord Rama was also an incarnation, and Lord Parashurama was the incarnation before Lord Rama. It was a great opportunity for me to play both these characters. I spent a whole year preparing for ‘Ramayana’ so that I could understand these characters, their beliefs and their motives very well.”
