A disturbing news has emerged for BTS fans (ARMY) around the world. The historic comeback event ‘BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | Just a day before ‘ARIRANG’, the group’s leader RM (Kim Namjoon) is injured during rehearsal. BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed the news on March 20 and revealed that RM had suffered an ankle injury during rehearsals the day before. After a thorough medical examination, he was diagnosed with an accessory navicular sprain, a partial ligament tear and a talus contusion. In this injury the ligament gets damaged and becomes swollen.

According to the agency, RM has been advised to wear a plaster and completely limit his movements for at least two weeks to ensure his recovery. Although the BTS leader had reportedly expressed his strong desire to perform fully on the special comeback stage to be held in Gwanghwamun, the final decision was only made after consulting medical experts.
The company said his choreography and overall movement on stage would be “partially limited” to avoid aggravating the injury.
This means that RM will appear on stage and interact with his fans, but his performance will not involve full physical participation. As soon as the announcement was made, fans expressed their concern online and wished him a speedy recovery.
The announcement comes just hours after BTS released their fifth studio album ARIRANG. The album marks the group’s first comeback in nearly four years. The live event on March 21, which will be broadcast live around the world, is being seen as a historic comeback not only for the group, but also for all the fans around the world who have been eagerly waiting for the group to reunite.
