Amitabh Bachchan has only good things to say about I Want to Talk
In a long blog on Tumblr, Amitabh Bachchan wrote about films that invite the audience to be entertained and films that invite people to become the film. He believes that I Want to Talk falls into the latter category. He wrote, “It lifts you gently from your seat in the theater and places you, just as gently, inside the screen on which it is being projected, and you watch its life flow by. Avoid it. There is no attempt or opportunity for… escapism.” Talking about Abhishek Bachchan’s acting in the film, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “Abhishek… you are not Abhishek… you are the Arjun Sen of the film.” Big B also subtly commented on all the ongoing discussions about the film, its box office numbers and more. He shared “He also gave a strong message, saying, “Let them say what they want… but this is what I say… for the film. Good people considered me good; Bad people considered me bad. Whatever their need was, did they recognize me with that.”
Further in his blog, Amitabh Bachchan wrote that it is a person’s ‘need’ to consider another person as good or bad. In the note he briefly explained how a person’s perception is formed according to the ‘need’ of the thinker. Amitabh Bachchan is playing the role of a supportive father and is sharing all the good things written about Abhishek Bachchan and I Want to Talk on his social media account.
