Govinda is one of the most favorite actors of the 90s. He has worked in more than 150 films and is known for his satirical performances and dance skills. He was a lead actor in the 1990s and was last seen in Sikandar Bharti’s comedy-drama ‘Rangeela Raja’ in 2019. However, recently he has been in the news for his personal life, from health problems to divorce rumours, and now his manager has alleged that the actor has received several threatening calls.

Govinda’s manager has claimed that the actor has been receiving some death threats recently. “He is constantly receiving threat calls. Thank God he had a gun on the day he was attacked. He chased everyone away. Otherwise God knows what would have happened to him. I reached him at 4 in the morning. We have also lodged an FIR. We also have a video of what happened that night,” Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha told ANI. Although Shashi did not tell anything clearly about the incident, but she said that Govinda got injured while defending himself.

Let us tell you that last year the actor came into limelight when he was taken to the hospital because he accidentally shot himself in the leg with his licensed revolver. The actor had also clarified that the shot was fired accidentally and it happened when he was cleaning his gun before leaving for the airport. The actor was alone at his home at the time of the incident. Mumbai Police began investigating the incident, although no complaint was filed.
About Govinda’s extra marital affair
Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have been in the news for the past few months due to the alleged rift in their marriage. There are reports that the actor is in a relationship with a 30 year old Marathi actress. Reacting to the claims, in a podcast with Paras S Chhabra, Sunita said, “I have told the media many times that I have also heard this. But, until I see her with my own eyes or catch her red-handed, I cannot announce anything. I have heard that she is a Marathi actress.”
She further added, “This is not the age to do all this. Govinda should think about settling his daughter and son Yash’s career. But, I have also heard rumors and said don’t believe anything until I open my mouth.”
Sharing details about his upcoming projects, his manager confirmed, “Many producers and even actors are offering him, even though he hasn’t had any hit films in recent times. He is just waiting for the right offer.”
