The trailer of the film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, directed by Aditya Dhar, was released on Saturday and in just a few hours it has received more than 1.9 million views on YouTube. This 3 minute 25 second trailer is full of high-octane action, but the most talked about thing is a small glimpse of Akshay Khanna.
‘Rahman Dacoit’ came back even after death?
In the first part of the film, we saw that Ranveer Singh’s character (Hamza Ali Mazari) had destroyed the network of Karachi’s powerful gangster Rehman Dacoit (Akshay Khanna) and that character was killed. In such a situation, his presence in the trailer of the second part has surprised the audience.
Where was Akshay Khanna seen in the trailer?
Amidst the action sequences, eagle-eyed fans noticed that in one scene, Akshaye Khanna’s character ‘Rahman Dacoit’ is seen sitting on a chair. He is calmly watching Arjun Rampal’s character (Major Iqbal). Apart from this, Ranveer Singh can also be seen in the trailer ticking the name of Dacoit Rehman in his diary.

This is followed by powerful action sequences of Ranveer Singh in the role of Hamza Ali Mazari, showing how he defeats the enemies in Lyari, Karachi, as was shown in the story of the first part of Dhurandhar. Amidst the action, sharp-eyed viewers can catch a brief glimpse of Akshay Khanna’s character, Rahman the dacoit, sitting on a chair and looking at Arjun Rampal’s Major Iqbal. In the trailer, Ranveer Singh is also seen marking the name of dacoit Rahman in his diary.

This spy-thriller starring Ranveer Singh will be released in theaters on March 19, 2026. Considering the advance booking and craze of the film, ‘Paid Previews’ will be started from the evening of 18th March. Aditya Dhar has once again proved that he is an expert in adding thrill and suspense to his films. Now it remains to be seen what new twist this cameo of Akshay Khanna brings to the story of the film.
