Just ahead of the release of his upcoming much-awaited film ‘Bhoot Bangla’, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar visited the famous Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain to seek blessings of Lord Shiva. His mother-in-law and veteran actress Dimple Kapadia was also present with him. Akshay Kumar was seen offering prayers at the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain. Before the release of the actor’s film ‘Bhoot Bangla’, he prayed to Lord Shiva and Nandi Ji. While leaving the temple, Akshay said he had prayed for the prosperity of the country and the well-being of his family.

Akshay wore white kurta-pajama while going to Mahakaleshwar temple. He often goes there to seek blessings and offer prayers. “It was really great… I prayed for the entire country and my family. I prayed that our country always progresses and moves forward,” he told ANI while leaving the temple complex.

Akshay Kumar will now be seen in ‘Bhoot Bangla’
One of the most talked about films of 2026 right now is ‘Bhoot Bangla’, and honestly, a big reason for this excitement is the reunion everyone was waiting for. Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan are coming back together after 14 years. This alone is enough to arouse the curiosity of the fans. Their previous collaborations have given us some memorable comedies, so expectations are naturally high.
There is already a lot of discussion about the film. Teasers, posters, songs, everything is being released in such a way that people remain connected to the film, but they do not even know much about the film. Especially the teaser attracted everyone’s attention as soon as it came. It has that familiar vibe—a little scary, a little funny, and completely in Priyadarshan’s classic comedy style.

‘Bhoot Bangla’, a collaboration between Balaji Motion Pictures and Cape of Good Films, is directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor and Ekta R Kapoor. It is scheduled to release in theaters on April 10, 2026.
