In an interview given to News 18, while talking about trolling, Akshay said, ‘So what? Have we never seen this before? This happens in Hollywood too. Sometimes a script is needed. Even in real life, many people marry someone older or younger than themselves.
At the same time, the film’s director Priyadarshan also expressed his opinion on this. He said that people like NTR and MGR often used to say that there is a lot of difference between real age and film age. The age shown in the film of any actor does not reflect his real age at all.
People like actors very much despite their filmy age, no one has any problem in this. During the shooting, it may happen that after seeing a couple, people may feel that it is not right. But, this decision cannot be taken at all based on age difference.
Priyadarshan further said that when he shoots films with Tabu or Akshay, he has no problem in watching them. The audience also does not face any problem when they watch the film. This happens because of the age of the character and the film.
