After the blockbuster ‘Dhurandhar’ of the year 2025, now its next part ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ is all set to hit the theaters tomorrow i.e. on 19th March. Just before the premiere of the film, director Aditya Dhar has shared a special message to fans on social media. He has requested the audience not to share ‘spoilers’ to maintain the suspense and thrill of the film.
In his latest post, he requested fans to go to the theater with no knowledge but with curiosity, and walk out with a very personal experience of the film in their mind. He thanked everyone for the tremendous response to the first part of the film and said that he has full confidence in the audience regarding Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Interestingly, he also asked the audience not to get up from their seats until the credits (list of names) of the film stopped playing.
Tremendous response from the audience to the first film
Dhar said that although he and his team put their heart and soul into both parts of the film, he realized that the film was no longer just his. In an emotional message to the audience, he expressed his gratitude for how people have embraced the film and made it their own with so much love and support.

A statement shared by Aditya on social media read, “To my dearest, most extraordinary Dhurandhar family: On December 5, 2025, Dhurandhar released in theaters across the world. And since then, you haven’t just watched our film, you’ve loved it. You’ve lived it. You’ve appreciated every little detail, debated every moment, watched it over and over again, and noticed things I never even thought about.” Didn’t think anyone would.”
He talked about the journey of the film – from his editing table to the film becoming an audience, “then of the country, and now of the whole world.” Dhar called it the most humble and heart-touching gift a filmmaker could receive.
Focus on delivering an unexpected sequel
He wrote, “So when we sat down to make Dhurandhar: The Revenge, we were sure of one thing: we had to surprise you.” He further added that he had to make the audience feel things they were not prepared for – with complete depth and honesty – and that is never easy to do.

He further said that films should be experienced that way, not as “a blurry picture on someone’s phone.” Dhar concluded his statement with the words, “Now I am trusting you to protect the future of this film. With all my love and gratitude. Bharat Mata ki Jai.” At the end of the caption of his post, along with that statement, the filmmaker also added, “Oh, and one more thing. Don’t get up from your seats until the credits stop playing.”
