There were difficulties during the shooting of ‘Sholay’

Apart from this, in an old interview, when Hema Malini was talked to on the completion of 50 years of the film ‘Sholay’, she shared some memories of her shooting days. He had told, ‘My mother was very worried about me during the shooting, especially when I had to shoot barefoot in the scorching heat. It was not easy to walk on hot sand and stones, as they became very hot in the scorching sun.

Hema Malini told, ‘My mother wanted me to wear something on my feet, which could prevent injuries, but it could not last long. When director Ramesh Sippy saw this, he asked to remove it because it could have been seen on the screen in the film. After this I had to shoot without any security, which was a very difficult experience.

Today ‘Sholay’ is counted among the biggest and historical films of Indian cinema. Last year this film completed 50 years, which is a big achievement in itself.
