Recently, a video of Salman Khan went viral on social media, in which he was seen saying that he has not read any script till date. Then what happened, people started trolling the actor fiercely on the internet. Many users also linked the performance of his previous films ‘Radhe’ and ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ to this statement.
However, it later emerged that only half of Salman Khan’s statement had gone viral. In fact, the actor had further said that instead of reading the script himself, he prefers to listen to the entire story i.e. narration from the director or writer.
Salman believes that if he reads the script himself, then his own distinct image of the film is formed in his mind, which may sometimes be different from the director’s vision. For this reason, he believes it is better to understand the director’s thinking and the complete feel of the film through narration.
Well, this method is not new in Bollywood. According to reports, many big stars including Shah Rukh Khan also follow the narration process for films. However, its disadvantage is that many times the story told in the narration does not appear the same in the final film.
Meanwhile, there are also reports that after the films not performing as per their wish for some time, Salman Khan has now become very serious about the scripts. It is being told that now they are finalizing only those projects whose complete bound script is ready.
According to reports, Salman is moving ahead with the same approach in his upcoming films SVC63 and Raj & DK project. At present, this statement of the actor is continuously discussed on social media.
