Amarinder Singh Gill was born on 11 May 1976 in Punjab. He completed his education from Khalsa College, Amritsar. Before pursuing a career in music, Amrinder Singh Gill worked as a manager in Firozpur Central Cooperative Bank.

Singer Amrinder Gill recorded his first song ‘Saanu Ishq’ Ho Gaya for a Doordarshan program in Jalandhar. Apart from this, there is also a Punjabi film production and distribution company of Amrinder Gill, Rhythm Boy and Karaj Gill. Then in the year 2000, he released his first song ‘Apni Jaan Ke’. His second album was ‘Ek Vaada Tha’.
