Actress Deepika Singh is excited about Mother’s Day (10 May), the day dedicated to the love and strength of mothers. On this occasion, she shared her feelings of motherhood and said that becoming a mother is a beautiful feeling in her life.

Becoming a mother is the biggest change in my life

Deepika, who is playing the character of Mangal in the TV show ‘Mangal Lakshmi’, described her son Soham as the most beautiful and important part of her life. Deepika Singh said, “Becoming a mother has been the biggest transformational journey of my life. It is a character that has to be played throughout life. As an actress, I have done many roles on screen, but becoming Soham’s mother is the biggest purpose and a beautiful feeling for me.”

Deepika further said that while playing the role of a mother in the show, she often remembers her son. The actress said, “When I do scenes with children in the show, I feel as if I am with Soham. I tell him that love and care come in many forms – grandmother, grandmother, aunt, aunt or teacher, and each form is special.”

The actress also said that she wants her son to see her as a working mother. He said, “When children see their mothers working, they understand how much hard work has to be done to fulfill their dreams. A woman’s identity is not just that of a mother, she plays many roles.”
