The much awaited historical drama film ‘Raja Shivaji’, starring and directed by Riteish Deshmukh, hit the theaters on May 1. Due to the tremendous buzz before its release, the film broke records on the first day and set a new benchmark in the film industry by registering the biggest ever opening for Marathi films. Its opening weekend was also a blast. But due to mixed reviews, now there is a slowdown in its collection on weekdays but still it is earning well. How much did ‘Raja Shivaji’ earn on the sixth day?
Riteish Deshmukh’s film ‘Raja Shivaji’ is leaving its mark at the Indian box office apart from the weekend. After a record-breaking opening weekend, the film also passed the Monday test. After this, it earned well on Tuesday also. After which this film has now reached close to the figure of Rs 50 crores. Also, now it is moving towards competing with the lifetime collection of ‘Veda’

  • If we talk about the film’s earnings, it has earned Rs 4.25 crore on the sixth day of its release i.e. first Wednesday.
  • Whereas ‘Raja Shivaji’ had earned Rs 11.35 crore on the first day.
  • After this, it earned Rs 10.55 crore on the second day, Rs 12 crore on the third day, Rs 5.60 crore on the fourth day and Rs 4.90 crore on the fifth day.
  • After this, the total collection of the film in India for 6 days has now become Rs 48.65 crore.

With a collection of Rs 48.65 crore, Raja Shivaji is currently the fourth highest grossing Marathi film of all time in India. To achieve the third position, it will have to leave behind Ved (61.2 crores), whose lifetime collection is 61.2 crores. In such a situation, Raja Shivaji will defeat Ved as soon as he earns 13 crores more. After this, due to no big film releasing in the coming days, it can leave behind Bapan Bhari Deva (76.28 crores).
