The debate of working for 8 hours in the TV industry is once again in discussion. Meanwhile, the statement of TV actress Deepika Singh has come out, in which she clearly said that working is a passion for her. Sometimes she shoots for more than 12 hours, i.e. even 13-14 hours. She completely immerses herself in her character and it is normal for her to spend more time to improve her performance.
Deepika’s opinion regarding 8 hours work
When Deepika was asked about working for 8 hours, do you think that there are a lot of discussions going on about the work that one does for so many hours. Then Deepika replied that ‘I entered the industry at the age of 24. It’s been so many years and the more I work, the less it seems. When I work for 12 hours and if I have scenes left, I work for 13-14 hours also. I get so into my character that I feel like performing more. I am so passionate about my work that I do not see time for it because if you give less time, its quality will reduce. Also, the director will not get that much space to shoot the scenes better.
Deepika further said, ‘All these things regarding working hours do not come to my mind. Yes, but when you are sick, worried, when you have to give time to your family, then these things happen. But one understands with time. What about us is that if work is done then a lot is done, otherwise it is not done. That’s why whenever I remember such things that are becoming difficult for me today, I remember my day one that I came here by train and now I go home by flight. Mumbai has given me money, name and fame. Today people know me as an actress. I came here on 5th May in 2011, that is why I feel that there is still a lot left to do. I have to do a lot, if I get tired already then what will I do next?
