The makers of Bobby Deol starrer Bandar on Monday announced that the film will release in theaters globally on June 5. According to the press release, the film is directed by Anurag Kashyap and written by Sudeep Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee. Bandar had its world premiere at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September 2025. The film is said to be inspired by real life events.
The film is produced by Nikhil Dwivedi and backed by Zee Studios and also stars Sanya Malhotra, Raj B Shetty, Jeetendra Joshi, Sapna Pabbi, Indrajit Sukumaran, Riddhi Sen, Saba Azad and Nagesh Bhosle in lead roles. Apart from Bandar, Deol will also be seen in the action-thriller film Alpha alongside Sharvari and Alia Bhatt. This film has been directed by Shiv Rawal. He will also be seen in the Tamil action-drama film Jana Nayakan, directed by H. Vinod.
