Bollywood’s rising star Ahaan Pandey is in the news these days about his success and upcoming projects. After making a stellar debut with the film ‘Sayara’, Ahaan has now expressed his desire to work with director Aryan Khan, son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan.Recently, in an interview with Filmfare, Ahaan spoke openly about his and Aryan’s deep friendship and the possibilities of working together in the future.
“Will work for relationship, not for show”
When Ahaan was asked if he would like to act in Aryan Khan’s direction, he replied in a very mature manner. Ahan clarified that if they ever get back together, it would not be because of any commercial showdown or the success of their recent films.The 28 year old actor said“Yes, in the future, why not? Not for any showy thing, not because of ‘bads’ (the ba***ds of Bollywood) or ‘Sayara’, but because of a true relationship.
Talking about that relationship, Ahaan said that growing up with someone creates a different kind of understanding. He recalled the time when Aryan would return from school and come straight to his parents’ house before meeting them.
“His parents would call me and ask why he does this. When you share that kind of history, you understand a lot about each other, and there’s a lot to explore as a performer,” he added.
The ‘Sayara’ star finally said that working together won’t feel like work and it’s something he’s really looking forward to.
What’s next for Ahaan and Aryan?
On the work front, Ahaan is currently working on an action-entertainer directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
She is also set to reunite with her ‘Sayara’ co-star Anita Padda for Mohit Suri’s next. The new project brings back the team behind the 2025 romantic drama and is expected to begin shooting later this year. Backed by Yash Raj Films, the untitled film is planned to be released in theaters worldwide in 2027. ‘Sayara’ was a major commercial success and earned Rs 580 crore worldwide. The pairing of Ahaan and Anita was highly appreciated.
Meanwhile, Aryan started his directorial career with ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ last year. He has not announced his next project yet.
