Bollywood’s ‘Khalnayak’ is once again ready to create a stir on the big screen. Sanjay Dutt officially announced the sequel of his cult classic film ‘Khalnayak Returns’ during a grand event held in Mumbai on Friday. This historic moment not only got the fans excited but also made Sanjay’s wife Manyata Dutt emotional.In the videos of the event, which are now going viral online, Manyata can be seen emotionally hugging producer Aksha Kamboj, while Sanjay stood next to her on the stage.

Manyata’s opinion on Sanjay’s long-awaited sequel
In another video from the event, Manyata can be heard saying that she got “goosebumps” after watching the video and described the sequel as a film that Sanjay had wanted to make for a long time. He said that the actor has seen many ups and downs in his life, and the love he has received from people has given him the courage to move forward. He further added that actors often want to come back to the characters that have given them an identity, and ‘Ballu Balram’ from ‘Khalnayak’ is one such memorable character for Sanjay.
Manyata also revealed that discussions regarding this sequel had been going on for more than a decade. He recalled that the idea of ​​making this film often came up during evening meals and conversations at home. Describing it as a “passion project”, he said that he had been talking about making the film for a long time. He also revealed that ‘Khalnayak Returns’ will be the first production of ‘Aspect Entertainment’. ‘Jio Studios’ and ‘Three Dimension Motion Pictures’ are the co-producers of this film.

The return of a cult classic
‘Khalnayak Returns’ is the sequel to the film ‘Khalnayak’, which was released in theaters in 1993. In the teaser of this new film, Sanjay can once again be seen in the role of ‘Ballu Balram’. In the video, he reminds a person that ‘Ballu’ had escaped from jail at 10 pm on October 10. While smoking a cigarette, he suddenly utters this dialogue, “I am not a hero, I am a villain,” and then walks away from there in his own style.
In an official statement, Sanjay said that the film ‘Khalnayak’ has always been very close to his heart and people still remember it fondly. He said that it was an old dream of his to make this film again, and he also informed that the rights of this film have been acquired legally. He also thanked the original film’s director Subhash Ghai and his banner Mukta Arts for entrusting him with the responsibility of carrying on this legacy. He said that his team hopes to create something special for the old fans as well as the new generation.
Ballu Balram is one of the most important characters of Sanjay’s career. He played an anti-hero in Subhash Ghai’s 1993 film, which proved to be a commercial hit. The film ‘Khalnayak’ made with Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff became very famous for its music and the tremendous performance of the actors.
