Veteran actress Mumtaz recently reacted to Zeenat Aman and Sanjeev Kumar. He talked about the difference between a star and an actor. Mumtaz believes that Sanjeev Kumar was not a star.

Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand, Shammi Kapoor, all these were stars. Sanjeev Kumar played character roles. Supporting role also. He was a very good person. But there is a difference between a star and an actor.

He further said that his words were distorted. He said, ‘You said he was a big star, so I reacted that he was not a big star. He was a good actor.
Apart from this, Mumtaz reacted about Zeenat Aman. He said, ‘Sorry, but Zeenat Aman was not a good actress. I will say sorry to them too. How many awards did Zeenat Aman receive? How will it work if you call everyone a star? Not everyone is a star.
Mumtaz further said that not everyone is Dilip Kumar. It takes years to become a star. By the time you reach there your hair is also gone. Mumtaz took the names of those actresses who saw stardom. Mumtaz said- Meena Kumari, Madhubala, Nargis, Rekha, all these were real stars in heroine.
