The film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, directed by Aditya Dhar, has set records at the box office which were difficult to even imagine. Within 25 days of its release, the film became the highest-grossing Indian film worldwide, surpassing the collections in China and the Gulf countries.This means that excluding China and Gulf business, it has left all other Indian films behind in terms of worldwide earnings. Films like ‘Dangal’, ‘Pushpa 2’ and ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ had benefited greatly from these regions; Excluding China and Gulf business, these films had grossed Rs 700–790 crore, Rs 1,685 crore and Rs 1,615 crore respectively.
Overall, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is still at number four in the list of highest-grossing Indian films worldwide, behind ‘Pushpa 2’, ‘Baahubali 2’ and ‘Dangal’. Ranveer Singh’s film also performed well at the end of its fourth week and collected Rs 35.25 crore nett, which included Rs 14.75 crore on Sunday alone.

The film has crossed the worldwide gross of Rs 1,700 crore and after 25 days it has now reached Rs 1,712.98 crore. It has crossed the Rs 1,000 crore net collection mark in India and also in Hindi language, which shows its tremendous popularity in India.

‘Dhurandhar 2’ is still going strong and is now on its way to breaking into the top three highest-grossing Indian films worldwide, even if that includes China and the Gulf markets. Its performance also marks a significant change in box office trends, proving that a film can make huge money worldwide, even without relying on traditionally high-grossing international markets. ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ stars Sanjay Dutt, R.
