In the film, Ritesh Deshmukh is seen in the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his style looks very powerful. The film depicts the challenges and sacrifices of Shivaji and Sambhaji for the country. Apart from this, glimpses of actors like Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Fardeen Khan and Genelia Deshmukh have also been seen and Sanjay Dutt is seen as the villain.

Let us tell you, the film ‘Raja Shivaji’ has been written, directed and produced by Ritesh Deshmukh, which is considered to be one of the biggest films of his career. Its music has been composed by the famous duo Ajay-Atul and the cinematography work has been handled by Santosh Sivan. The film has been shot at locations like Wai, Mahabaleshwar, Satara and Mumbai. This project was announced in February 2024 and now it is going to be released in theaters on May 1, 2026. The special thing is that at the time of release it will compete with Aamir Khan’s produced film ‘Ek Din’, in which Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi will be seen.
