Interval is a common thing in long Bollywood films, but it does not happen in every country. The recent screening of Ranveer Singh’s film Dhurandhar: The Revenge in Canada changed this completely. The audience who came to watch this nearly four-hour long film saw the interval for the first time and their reaction quickly went viral on social media. In the video, the audience got up from their seats, talked and enjoyed the interval.
The audience looked happy during the interval
Instagram user Journey with Shefali shared a video, in which there was a 15-minute break in the middle of the film. The audience looked very happy during this break and some people were seen sitting there laughing and joking. The caption of the video read, ‘Effect of Dhurandhar 2. The film is four hours long, so Cineplex kept an interval for the first time. I have never seen anything like this in my 20+ years. everyone was happy. Generally, there is no interval in Canadian theatre, but keeping in mind the runtime of Dhurandhar 2, interval was given.
People showered love on the video
Even on the internet, people showered a lot of love on this video. One user wrote, Interval is the culture of Indian films and this is the time when directors can show their art. Someone reminded that in the 90s and 2000s, every Bollywood film in Canada had an interval. Let us tell you, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ was released in theaters on March 19 and it is the sequel of Dhurandhar released in 2025.

Along with the story of the film, every character has won the hearts of the audience and this film has become the biggest opening film of Bollywood, which has earned around Rs 102 crore on the first day.
