‘Shark Tank India’ judge Aman Gupta spoke openly about the stories of shooting the show and his regrets. He told that once he had shot an episode of ‘Shark Tank India’ in a state of heavy hangover and incomplete sleep, due to which it was difficult to focus on deals. Aman Gupta also admitted that he has a big regret for not investing in ‘The Health Factory’ brand, which is now doing a turnover of crores every month. Apart from this, he also gave his opinion on his ‘Dilliwale’ outspoken style in the show.

New Delhi: Aman Gupta, the most favorite judge of ‘Shark Tank India’ and co-founder of BOAT, is famous for his outspokenness, but the revelations he has made recently have surprised everyone. In an interview, Aman Gupta recalled that ‘bad day’ of his life, when he had reached the shooting of the show in a state of heavy hangover. He told that one night he was partying till 4 in the morning and when he reached the set the next morning, his head was heavy and he had not got enough sleep. Aman Gupta says that at that time it was very difficult for him to focus on deals and use his mind. He honestly admitted that we cannot always be perfect and that despite being a shark, he too has days when things are not as they seem.
Aman Gupta also talked about a big mistake he made during the show, which he regrets even today. He told that in Season 2, a food brand ‘The Health Factory’ had come for the pitch, in which none of the sharks invested money. Today Aman regrets that he could not recognize this startup of Vinay Maheshwari and Mohit Sankhala at that time. At that time, Piyush Bansal had also jokingly said that maybe we will regret this decision and today that thing is being proved true. According to Aman, the company whose value was around Rs 35 crore at that time, is today doing a business of Rs 20 to 30 crore every month. This is one of the biggest ‘missed opportunities’ of his career.
When questions were raised on Aman Gupta’s language
Aman also spoke openly about his ‘Delhi’ style and way of speaking in the show. He told that sometimes he gets into the flow and says something which people find a bit strange. He narrated an incident when in anger he had said to a pitcher, ‘Hey, what are you doing?’ Sony channel kept it in the show and the audience also raised questions on his language. Aman believes that every judge has his own unique style, be it Ashneer Grover or anyone else. He likes to keep himself natural and believes that life behind the camera is as full of ups and downs as that of any ordinary person.
