The trailer of the film ‘Jab Khuli Kitab’, which explores the depth of relationships and new dimensions of love in old age, was released on Monday. Directed by Saurabh Shukla, the film is all set to release on OTT platform ZEE5 on March 6, 2026.

This film is the story of Gopal (Kapoor) and Anusuya (Kapadia). The two have been together for 50 years but their lives take an unexpected turn when Anusuya reveals an old secret, which shakes the foundation of their relationship.

Kapoor praised Shukla, saying that it is rare to find a filmmaker who chooses to underline mature love, and present it with honesty, humor and tenderness. The film is presented by Applause Entertainment Company and produced by Shoetrap Films banner.

Story: Gopal and Anusuya’s ‘unreal’ twist
The story of the film revolves around an elderly couple, Gopal (Pankaj Kapur) and Anusuya (Dimple Kapadia). Both have spent five decades of their lives with each other. Their stable life begins to fall apart when Anusuya reveals an old secret that shakes the foundation of their long relationship. After this begins a journey full of humor, emotions and honesty, where both try to understand their relationship afresh.
