Rajpal Yadav has specifically got interim bail from the court to attend his niece’s wedding held on February 19. Talking about his wife Radha Yadav, he said emotionally: “Even if I take birth many times, I will not be able to repay her debt (or the favor she has done to me). She has kept the entire family together and has supported me in everything.”
On the financial side and his village roots, he said light-heartedly: “The land in my village will at least provide for dal-roti (basic food and subsistence). The rest—whatever acting I do—is purely out of passion and hobby.”
Regarding the ongoing check bounce case (which involves approximately Rs 9 crore related to a 2012 film production loan on which interest had also accrued), he refrained from commenting in details and said: “The matter is sub-judicial, so I will not say much right now. Soon, along with my legal team, I will present my full version before the media with all the evidence and facts.”
In conversations with Aaj Tak and other outlets, he candidly said: “Whatever the court’s decision is, I will fully accept it. There is nothing more to say on the pending matter at this stage.”
Yadav reiterated his plan and said, “Very soon, my legal team and I will come before the media with complete evidence and clear everything.” Expressing gratitude once again, he said, “I am thankful to everyone who supported me during this difficult time.”
He spoke touchingly about his roots: “This is my birthplace. And Bollywood is also my birthplace. In this life, I will probably never be able to repay the debt to Hindi cinema.”
Regarding his wife, he once again said, “I cannot repay the favor she has done to me even in many births. She has been the supporter of the entire family in every happiness and sorrow.”
Overall, despite the legal troubles, Rajpal Yadav looked happy and composed, completely engrossed in the family celebration, with videos of his dancing, emotional moments (including tears in his eyes during his niece’s farewell/bidaa), and even helping out with traditional tasks like making rotis, going viral. His interim bail is valid till March 18, 2026, and the next hearing is scheduled then.
