Hindi cinema’s veteran screenwriter Salim Khan has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. As soon as the news of 90-year-old Salim Khan being admitted to the hospital was received, his fans and people associated with the film industry are worried about his health. Superstar Salman Khan reached Lilavati Hospital immediately after receiving information about his father’s hospitalization. The actor was seen leaving the hospital premises, wearing a black T-shirt and cap. Salman did not talk to the media while coming out behind the security cordon. So far, no official statement has been issued by the Khan family regarding Salim Khan’s health condition or the reason for his hospitalization.

The duo also wrote blockbuster films like Deewaar, Zanjeer and Don, which helped create the “Angry Young Man” era of Bollywood. His writing not only changed the way of storytelling but also increased the status of screenwriters in the industry.
In November 2025, Salim Khan celebrated his 90th birthday. His second wife, Helen, wrote a sweet note for the veteran writer on Instagram. He also shared his pictures with Salim and Salma Khan. Salman Khan’s alleged girlfriend, Iulia Vantur, had also written a note. Helen wrote on Instagram, “Happy 90th Birthday!! Thank you for the wonderful years together – for your kindness, your sense of humor, your constant presence and the love you have given to all of us. I am thankful to you every day. I wish you health, peace and all the happiness for your beautiful heart.
