During the show, the actor made a place in the hearts of the audience with his calm nature. At the same time, in the finale, he was competing with Farhana Bhatt, a resident of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.

There was a close contest between Gaurav and Farhana Bhatt in the finale, but Gaurav, who is very popular, was successful in defeating Farhana. Although Gaurav now lives in Mumbai with his wife Akanksha, he is a resident of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, where his parents live. I wondered what my son was doing here, but then gradually the way Gaurav played the game calmly, I became convinced that he could win. His nature is such that he does not quarrel. He remained cool the whole season, so I liked it very much.

Gaurav Khanna’s father Vinod Khanna also told that before becoming a part of Bigg Boss, he was in Kanpur. When he told that he had received the offer from Bigg Boss, the first reaction of Gaurav’s father was that he was of calm nature. What will he do by going on this show? Gaurav Khanna’s father further said, ‘We were hopeful that he would win because he is very stubborn, whatever he decides to do, he does it. Earlier also he had done the same in MasterChef, there also he had decided that he had to win, so he won. Here too he worked hard and was ready to do anything.
